keeping my head warm

I bought this kit from Black Sheep and Ewe Knitting, a company just starting up in Toronto. The kit contained a pattern for a hat or scarf and two skeins of 100% wool. The wool is Mirage and it is made in Italy. The pattern suggested I use 10mm straight needles.

This is the 2nd time I've made this hat and to add more rows. The first I made popped right off my large noggin and now it is a gift for my niece. This is the second hat and I still think that I need to add more rows.

Not super happy with it, but it is kind of cute!

C'est la vie - all part of the learning process.
